GAP REP

 

Job Summary:

The Gap Rep will be assisting the Team Leader to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and penetration within assigned area. Selling company products. Need to assist in contact and secure new business/ customers. Assisting to manage team of sales reps within assigned area with and in the absence of the Team Leader. Assisting to ensure that all targets and KPI’s are reached by sales reps within assigned area. The Gap Rep need to verifier new outlets as and when required by operations.  The purpose of verifying in the field is to identify viable outlets to enable BOH to compile a call cycle for the Sales Rep. The verifier needs to identify the outlets as viable or non-viable outlets by capturing data on Repforce and categories as beer outlet, ghost outlets or viable liquor outlet. The verifier to follow the steps as per Repforce App to complete the daily tasks. The Verifier should professionally introduce himself and the company to the outlets through the following the 7 steps. The Gap Rep also need to assist all Sales Reps to run the call cycles in the assigned area in the absent of the Sales Rep, achieving maximum sales profitability and growth. Selling company products and to sign up, activate and service new and existing business/ customers (Any further reasonable and lawful instructions from management within the employee’s vocational abilities not necessarily specified in the job description must be carried out.)

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensuring all sales reps within assigned region reach required targets.
  2. Monitoring performance on a continuous basis.
  3. Train reps on areas where they are lacking / underperforming.
  4. Ensure that all reps have a minimum of 90 outlets signed up.
  5. Sending feedback to Management and reporting on status of reps in assigned region on a continuous basis.

 Knowledge:

  1. Product knowledge and promotions of the company.
  2. Knowledge of competitors in the industry.
  3. Customer and industry knowledge by understanding each customer’s needs.
  4. Knowledge of market and territory; knows what is happening in the market and territory through market trends and promotions.
  5. Basic computer literacy.
  6. How to write a report with detailed feedback

Skills:

  1. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with customer
  2. Ability to do successful presentations.
  3. Ability to effectively service current customers by adding constructive value on how to grow their business
  4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally, and with both customers and management.

      The Sales Manager will help the company meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative.
